At Tomoson we take the quality and timeliness of posts seriously. Here are the 5 most common reasons an account would get locked.
1. Didn't finish tasks on time
When you apply to a campaign there is a calendar icon allowing you to define how long it will take to finish the task once you're approved. We default it to 10 days. If you think you need more time, change it when you apply by clicking the edit link or the calendar icon.
You can also change the default amount of days you apply with by going to your media kit and clicking on the calendar icon at the top.
If there are current campaigns you've applied to but haven't been approved for. You can either remove yourself or change the number of days to finish by clicking the edit icon under the all tab. Once approved that is the timeframe you've agreed to complete the tasks within.
2. Didn't order the product right away
If a product needs to be shipped to you by using a coupon code OR reimbursement (note: reimbursements are for none Amazon campaigns). You will need to order the product within 24 hours of being approved to give yourself enough time to receive the product and complete the tasks on time. As soon as you're approved you will get an email with instructions and links to order the products.
Don't wait until the last minute to use the codes because our support team can't help you if you wait too long. If you try the code within 24 hours and it doesn't work, do the following: contact the brand first (including screenshots of the issue is always a good idea) and if they don't get back to you within 3 days make sure to contact Tomoson support for help.
3. Didn't take an original picture or video
When creating a social post make sure to upload a picture or video of you using the product or service. We have a quality assurance team monitoring post quality to make sure they are original accurate images. If you copy the brand's photo or video and they don't ask you to do so, the post may need to be redone. Putting up unoriginal pictures or videos hurts your social account and doesn't bring any value to the brand.
4. Blog post is too short
If you agree to create a blog post make sure to write a real blog post about the product or service that you and your readers would actually want to read. Typing up 3 sentences and uploading some pictures is not a quality blog post and it will be removed from Tomoson. If you're not willing to write a blog post, do not apply with it as a task. This doesn't add any value to your application. If you're looking for more direction please read The 5 Things Every Influencer Should Do When Writing A Blog Post.
5. Special instructions were not followed
When applying to a campaign if there are special instructions you'll need to read and agree to them before you apply. As it comes time to verify your tasks make sure to click on special instructions to review them again and make sure you're following all of the brand's instructions.
If you can avoid these simple common sense errors you'll be sure to have lots of success on Tomoson with any brand :)
